Nice US Model 1860 Spencer Carbine, serial number 13,604 with military inspectors mark. Well used but complete and fully functiobal.

22 inch barrel with correct long range rear sight.  Fully visible address appears on top of receiver. Stocks are well worn and exhibit saddle wear. There is a loss of some wood between rear sling swivel and toe of buttplate, possibly battle damaged and dressed by the soldier who carried it. Well defined bore with some pitting mid-way through. Top of hammer has been re-welded to cock.

Overall excellent, well used example very moderately priced.
