An Early Civil War Colt Model 1849 Percussion Pocket Revolver With A Four Inch Barrel In Excellent Plus Condition. Serial #242,352, all matching numbers including the wedge. Made in1863.

The revolver has excellent metal, markings, and edges. It has an excellent and full cylinder scene. The barrel and cylinder on the gun both retain most of their original bright factory blue with only a couple of very small spots fading to a plum patina. The frame, loading lever, and hammer all retain excellent plus bright factory case colors throughout. All screws are excellent with bright original blue on them. The brass back strap and trigger guard are fine and untouched throughout with some silver still remaining in spots. The original grips are excellent plus and retain all of their original factory varnish on them. The revolver has an excellent action and bore.
